An extension of the big bang theory where the universe expands and contracts in cycles

Type: Item   Editor:

The cyclic universe creation theory is based on the concept of the big bang where the universe at one point in time was compressed into an extremely small space and then exploded expanding outward. As the expansion slows down it will eventually contract in again and into an extremely small space followed by another massive explosion expanding outward. These cycles repeat infinitely with each cycle taking 10s of billions of years to occur.
